Sugar-Free Lavender Lemonade (with Magnesium)


½ teaspoon dried (organic) lavender flowers
1 cup boiling water
1 tablespoon Natural Calm Sweet Lemon flavor
1 cup cold water
1 lemon, sliced (optional)Instructions
  1. Add the lavender to a teapot and cover with boiling water. (If you do not have a teapot, you can also use a cup or bowl.) Let steep for 20 minutes, then strain lavender out. Let cool in the refrigerator for 20 minutes (if you are short on time, you can skip this step and add extra ice).
  2. Once cool, combine with Natural Calm and additional cup of cool water, along with ice. Add lemon slices for extra flavor and a pretty presentation.
I typically use English lavender in my cooking. Dried lavender can be found at most grocery stores in the spice section. If you use fresh flowers from the garden, make sure they have not been sprayed with pesticides.
